Greetings! The landscape is a place of great beauty and spirit. Through plein air painting one can immerse oneself in that beauty and spirit. I've spent 26 years exploring and developing plein air painting. I came to painting through yoga practice, and understand the relationship of prana (life energy) to brush, color and motif. I can help you understand the original nature of the self and the natural development of your own artistic voice or 'style'. I studied painting with Antonio Salemme (1892-1995).

I can help you focus on your painting practice as a guide or simply help you by providing you with a home base to go out and paint in this wonderful natural environment. For a day, 2 days , or more!, we'll go out and confront reality by painting.


I am also available for workshops and seminars, focusing on what I call The Aesthetics of Spontaneity or The Yoga of Paint, or zen and the art of painting, or visual raga, or the tao of painting...please get in touch with any questions or for details on how we could set up something.
